Nissan Leaf phone holder
thingiverse
I created this phone holder to fit my Nissan Leaf perfectly. The base section fits snugly into the panel below the Climate Controls, which was a blank space in my Australian Leaf, but might be used for indicator lights in other countries. This phone holder has three distinct parts. One part mounts securely to the dash, fixed firmly in place by factory screws from the inside as shown in the photos. The second part slides into the base and I used it to hold a QI induction charger, which I purchased from Jaycar Electronics in Australia. You can find similar chargers in other countries. The last part is custom-made to fit any phone you prefer. My one fits a Samsung Galaxy S8 with an Incipio cover. I attached the phone holder to the induction charger mount using super glue, but it holds its place reasonably well due to the 4 pins. I printed all parts in the orientation shown, which gave me the best finish on the faces that you see when installed. I've included the Sketchup files so you can customise it to suit your needs.
