Nissan Leaf: Monitor mount

Do you own a Nissan Leaf but wish it had an around-view monitor like the Tekna model does? Well, you're in luck because I have designed custom mounts that fit a standard car reversing camera into the mirrors on both sides of the Leaf and the front, providing a clear view of the curb and other obstacles. Check out the photos to see this innovation for yourself! This mount is specifically made to hold the monitor, allowing it to be viewed by the driver while driving. The best part? It doesn't require any permanent modifications to the car, making it perfect for those who lease their Leaf. If you're interested in 3D printing but don't have a printer yet, please leave a comment and I'll do my best to help you out! **Print Settings** * Printer: Hobbyking Fabrikator * Rafts: No * Supports: Yes * Resolution: 0.2mm * Infill: 20% * Notes: Printing the mount sideways will give it extra strength in the clamp. **Instructions** 1) The monitor I used is listed below, but don't worry if you can't find it - this mount should work with most similar eBay monitors. Mine cost around £20 for reference. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/371230987620 2) Download the .STL file and print using Craftware 1.13 beta with black 1.75mm PLA filament on the Hobbyking Fabrikator at 0.2mm layer thickness with 20% infill. Printing sideways will give you the best results. 3) The monitor simply slides into the slot on the back of the mount, which should provide a firm friction fit. The whole thing clips firmly into place in the centre of the dash over the hazard warning light button - just remember to remove it when accessing the button.
