Nissan LEAF heater mount

Winter is finally here, and as a proud Nissan LEAF owner, we've got to stick together just to stay warm. Knowing how awkward it can get, let's try something new this year - supplementing our heat with a low-wattage desktop heater that thrives in the enclosed space of a car. The heat stays inside perfectly! My estimated miles were plummeting like zombies on The Walking Dead every time I turned on the heat in my Nissan LEAF. So I delved into research, seeking a heat source that wouldn't drain the LEAF's fuel cell. I discovered a small 170-watt electric heater and a compact 220Wh battery pack with an included charger and built-in 200-watt inverter - this combo gives me 1 hour and 10 minutes of heat per charge. Here are links to the heater and battery pack on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Honeywell-Heat-Personal-Heater-White/dp/B00X3PT9ZG/ https://www.amazon.com/Portable-Generator-Household-Storage-Inverter/dp/B018GE8JPY/ I also added an optional component - D_Battery_Stabilizer.stl. Printing 2 (or 3) of these will help keep the Suaoki 220Wh battery pack upright on the floor when making sharp turns. My goal was for the battery to sit on the hump in the back, but it still tumbles. The floor is the safest place for the battery for now. If you find something that works better, please leave a link in a comment. Enjoy! Print Settings Printer: XYZ Da Vinci Pro Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .03 Infill: 10% Notes: It took about 6 hours each for the 3 parts. You can get it made quicker at a coarser resolution. Post-Printing Painting (optional) I used Testors Red model paint to add some color to the "HOT" label on part 3. It was tedious and required a steady hand. How I Designed This Tools used for design: I simply measured the base of the cup-holder in the LEAF, its height, and built everything in TinkerCad - http://tinkercad.com
