The front suspension struts on a Gen1 Nissan Leaf can fill up with water and corrode. Install this cover to keep rain out. You should still apply a rust preventer to the bolt before putting it in place. Print two, one for each side. Although the problem usually occurs mostly on the driver's side near the windshield wiper hole. This design is extremely easy to print - no supports are needed (no wasted plastic). It doesn't matter which direction you put it on. I used PLA because it's relatively environmentally friendly. I'm not sure how long it will last in this situation. But I suspect it will endure. Version 10 of the STL file has been updated to ensure a tight seal over the strut cavity.
