Nissan Leaf Battery Pack Terminal Cover
thingiverse
This is a collection of files for crafting a terminal cover for a custom, 5-pack Nissan Leaf battery. We utilized this terminal cover for our PPPRS battery during the 2016 Race in Detroit. The uploaded files include modifications that I would have preferred while designing the part. If you'd like to download the original files as shown in the images, download the .zip file. These components are a combination of 3D printed and laser cut parts: Bottom (3D Printed): A bracket with captive nuts (6/32) that slides over the battery terminals and is held via friction, battery terminal latches, and copper interconnects. Middle (3D Printed or Laser Cut): A spacer piece between the bottom and top. Top (Laser Cut): ~1/4" clear acrylic cover EDIT I added a bottom-middle combo piece that may be printed as a single piece instead of the two separate bottom and middle pieces. Print Settings Printer: RepRap Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.25 Infill: 20% Post-Printing Drill out 6/32 holes (if using the combo bottom-middle piece)
