Nissan Leaf Battery Cap
thingiverse
These snap-on covers are designed specifically for Nissan Leaf battery cells.\r\nA large cover, which works seamlessly on both positive and negative terminals, provides ample space for an M6 screw (I use hex-head cap screws) and a side hole for a 10-12AWG terminal wire spade. The spade terminal plays a crucial role in holding the cap securely in place once the screw is tightened.\r\nA small cover, which works perfectly on center sense terminals, allows room for an M4 screw and a side hole for a 14-16AWG terminal wire spade.\r\nTo accommodate different needs, I've also included a small cap for center sense terminals that can be used when access to this terminal is not required. This cap fits snugly in place even without a screw inserted into the terminal.\r\nI have carefully adjusted the dimensions of these covers based on my printer's capabilities, so I am hopeful they will work well for others as well. The terminals are not perfectly square, which means that these covers can only be attached in two specific orientations (single orientation for black terminals due to an alignment tab on the battery).\r\nIf you encounter any issues with fitting, simply adjust the size by a few percent up or down and it should work just fine.
