Both my 2003 Infiniti G35 key fobs have stopped working properly and no longer stay securely attached to my key ring. Luckily, the replacement parts fit over the existing key fob after removing the broken attachment pieces, allowing me to still use the panic button. A tiny amount of glue can be applied for extra security, but there is a slight 0.030-inch interference or taper that keeps it snugly in place on the fob's contour. Nissan and Infiniti used identical key fobs across many model years, although I'm not aware of the exact models this part fits.
