I am thrilled to share my innovative cabin air filter holder project designed specifically for Nissan S13 (LHD) models, which unfortunately lack an OEM filter. This clever design is remarkably easy to install, requiring only the removal of the windshield glass cowl - a relatively straightforward process given the available space. The insert and holder parts are conveniently separate, connected by powerful neodymium magnets that ensure a secure fit. To simplify removal, I recommend adding a keyring to the filter holder part, which features a discreet hook for this purpose. To bring this project to life, you will need the following components: * 4 screws with an M3 x 10mm thread * 24 neodymium magnets measuring 6x3mm in size * 4 heat-set threaded inserts with an M3 thread * 1 cabin air filter (OEM number 9678792080, available from Citroen/Peugeot) * A length of foam tape approximately 50cm long and 1-2mm thick The cabin air filter in question can be sourced from a pack containing two filters; you will need to trim it to a precise 18.8mm length for optimal fitment.
