Nintendo Switch VISOR Mount
thingiverse
I designed this car mount for my Nintendo Switch because most existing designs were too large for my print bed. Mimoja created an excellent bracket, which I enhanced by adding holes for elastic straps and doubling its thickness to provide more space behind the switch. To prevent the switch from sliding out, I placed removable glue dots at the bottom of each bracket. The design works well, but the glue dots tend to roll up after repeated use; I need to find a better solution to keep the switch in place. Additionally, I should tidy up the knots holding the elastic straps, as they may eventually work loose. So far, so good – once I've snipped off excess material, this will be ready for use. Print Settings Printer: Monoprice mini Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 50 Notes: I forgot what infill setting I used, but the switch is not heavy, so a lower infill percentage should suffice. To print this design, place it on its side and only add supports for the end nubs.
