Nintendo Switch Veritcal Portrait Grip w/OpenSCAD file

Human: I embarked on a personal project to design my own vertical mounts for the Switch, despite already finding alternatives on Thingiverse, solely for the experience of creating something unique. To maximize support during gameplay, I opted to slide the joycons into the bottom mounts. While this design isn't suitable for holding the switch upside down, it excels in providing excellent support when played in its intended orientation.\r\n\r\nThis design features cutouts for air intake, exhaust, and a front speaker, allowing for smooth console insertion. The cutout mirrors the console's profile closely, ensuring a snug fit. The joycon mounts also match their respective profiles, creating a seamless experience.\r\n\r\nTo overcome printing limitations with joycon tracks in the vertical direction, I divided my design into three parts that interlock using dovetail joints. This allowed me to achieve a thinner track for smooth joycon movement, resulting in effortless insertion and removal without forcing them onto or off the tracks. The tracks' design enables the joycons to slide off when pulled down, although this might be attributed to the shape of the locking mechanism on the joycons.\r\n\r\nI printed the screen mount vertically to avoid using supports, as printing it horizontally would have necessitated support material.
