Nintendo Switch portable mode grips
thingiverse
I wanted a more portable grip than the large single-piece handles so I decided to try creating a smaller one. This relies on a tiny peg that locks into one of the bottom screw holes on the joycon. You slide the grip in from the bottom until you feel the peg clicking into place. To remove it, push on the tab at the top and it easily comes off. I left some extra space to apply strips of electrical tape to prevent scratching the joycons. I prefer that over making it very tight and damaging everything. Printed at 0.2mm layer height, with two perimeters and 5% infill density. This is a work in progress, so results may vary significantly.
