This holder cradles your Nintendo Switch securely over the Pro Controller while leaving ample room for your hands to grasp the controller and play comfortably. Extensive refinements have been made to this design, building upon a remixed original model. The mount sits atop the controller, rather than dangling from the bottom. This strategic placement ensures that the center of gravity aligns with the middle of your palms, minimizing wrist strain and preventing the fit from being too tight to avoid scratching the controller. In my opinion, this setup is far more comfortable than playing with the JoyCons mounted on the sides. For optimal stability, two small indents on the base plate provide necessary support for the controller mount. Although one of these indents accommodates a flexible section, supports are crucial to prevent damage. Fortunately, these required supports are minuscule in size. A flexible element has been incorporated into the controller mount to ensure a snug fit without compromising the controller's safety (no liability is accepted for potential scratches). The switch mount is designed as a separate piece that effortlessly clips together with the controller mount. A flexible head on the controller mount securely holds the Switch in place, while the full-width tray prevents it from sliding to either side. Conveniently, there are holes on both the controller and switch mounts to facilitate charging during gameplay. I've rigorously tested this design, finding that even when turned upside down, the Switch remains firmly in place (although I cannot guarantee its safety in extreme situations). Ample space exists between the controller and the Switch, allowing adults to play comfortably without their hands colliding with the mount, even at a sensible viewing angle from a lap or table. The only minor issue is that the controller mount could be slightly more snug at the back to prevent slight sideways movement; however, I believe this is acceptable for now.
