Nintendo Switch Mount

Nintendo Switch Mount

thingiverse

I was lying in bed one night holding my Nintendo Switch a foot above my face when it suddenly clicked, "I need a mount for this!" I knew that if I could design a reliable mount, I could then attach it to a gooseneck I had on hand and easily play games in bed. I can now detach my joycons and enjoy gaming in the laziest way possible! I even made a hole for the charge cable that I'll run through the gooseneck. It fits my switch perfectly, and the little nub on the bottom grabs and holds it in place. I designed the gooseneck mount to be separate from the switch mount so I could reuse the design for other scenarios and so others could use it to meet their needs. If you come up with a great 'attachment', please share it as a remix. The mount plate is 6mm thick, while the two screw holes are 10mm apart (from center) and have a diameter of 3.25mm. Using that information and your own CAD software, you should be good to go. The screws I used fit well within the plastic and are not exposed to the switch, but I did cover them with some electrical tape for peace of mind. The gooseneck I used is 3/8"-18 NPS, and I tapped the hole.
