Nintendo Switch JoyCon Small Grip
thingiverse
I've tried out several different JoyCon grips on this site, but none of them fit well. I remixed one to use the least amount of material possible while still being sturdy enough. The fit should be snug without needing too much force to connect the JoyCons. You may have to hold the release button down to slide them back out. My remix changes include removing the top and bottom of the model and chamfering the edges so that the JoyCon slides on more easily. *Update 1: I've added a new model with the tops of each channel rounded off, making it easier to use since you don't have to worry about it sliding too far.* *Update 2: If you're having trouble with scale, you can use this info. to correct it in whatever slicer you're using: For the closed top version, Cura gives me these dimensions: Size X: 15mm Size Y: 57.165mm Size Z: 31.973mm For the open top version, Cura gives me: Size X: 15mm Size Y: 57.165mm Size Z: 29.216mm Changing one of these dimensions should automatically update the others to keep the same scale. Printer: MonoPrice MP Select Mini 3D Printer Settings: -Fill Density: 15% -Layer Height: 0.2mm -Support: Not needed *Make sure that there is no extra material around the bottom edge of either channel (where the JoyCon's slide in) after printing, as this would make it harder to slide in the controllers.*
