Nintendo Switch Joy-Con Comfort Grip (Original)
cults3d
A custom variation of the official Comfort Grip. This is an easy multi-part print with integrated rails and latches - no need to dismantle a functioning comfort grip to make it work. I also have custom comfort grips available in an wider contoured grip configuration. See:https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/nintendo-switch-joy-con-comfort-grip-contoured And the a basic connector can be downloaded for free. See: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/nintendo-switch-joy-con-connector The connector is straight sided like the original and available in standard width (41.5mm), medium (51.5mm) and wide (61.5mm) The grips are a similar shape and configuration to the original, but are provided in the three widths. Make sure you print the correct connector/grip combination. The grip and connector are printed separately. Both parts are printed vertically as currently orientated. The rails on the connector are very thin (~0.7mm) and still may be too tight straight from the printer; they will need some sanding to perfect the connection (printing the part separately makes this easier). I recommend taping sandpaper to a flat surface (180 grit is fine). Don't overdo the sanding. You want the controller to attach and detach smoothly without sticking or wobbling. Use Super Glue to join the connector and grip together. Registration pins are provided to ensure correct alignment. You will need two pins. I recommend sanding the two adjoining surfaces before gluing.
