Nintendo Switch Horizontal Dock Stand

Nintendo Switch Horizontal Dock Stand

So, my Switch must go behind the TV or on the floor because it can't fit in the TV cabinet I have at home. In its standard position, it's just too tall to fit in the only location I have available. As an intermediate woodworker and familiar with Sketchup, I used the program I know to make this horizontal dock. It tilts the Switch up almost 10 degrees (9.6) so I can put it next to the cable box above the TV. Works great and so far, there have been no issues. There is plenty of clearance for the cables and USB ports. The Switch slides in and stays firmly in place. I included the STL files for a few different versions I made. As well as the Sketchup file if someone wants to go forth and do a better job than I did. I added a taller tray to the front for the multiple wrist straps and whatever else. One of the designs has a shorter one. Enjoy! ******************************************************************************************************* USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
