Nintendo Switch Horizontal Dock Foot

Nintendo Switch Horizontal Dock Foot

My only options for placing my Nintendo Switch dock were behind the TV or laying it down underneath it. Behind the TV caused connectivity problems with the controllers. However, laying the Switch without modifications presented several other issues: 1. The hinge for the cable cover prevents the dock from lying flat, and puts it at a slight negative angle which could cause your Switch to fall out of the dock onto the floor. It only lies flat if you flip the dock over such that the switch screen is facing down, but I didn't want gravity pressing the screen into the dock. 2. The vents are underneath and laying it completely horizontal may block them and cause the Switch to overheat. My design leaves plenty of room for airflow. 3. I had concerns about stress on the USB-C connector in the dock when laying the Switch completely horizontally. It appears that the protrusions inside the dock prevent this, but just in case I designed the feet to hold the dock at a +12.5 degree angle which should alleviate most of that stress. Just print two of these feet and slide them onto the bezel above the cable cover on your Nintendo Switch dock.
