Nintendo Switch Headrest / wall Mount
thingiverse
I made this simple Nintendo Switch headrest mount for my son. It was designed to be easy to 3D print, simple to attach, and fast to install the Switch. I deliberately avoided making it rigid so the switch wouldn't bounce or shake when driving. This mount's flexible design allows you to attach it to a seat headrest in various ways, such as using Velcro (check out the photo), shoelace, string, lanyard, chain, Zip ties (see the photo), and more. You can also attach it to a wall or use it for other purposes. The mount lets you slide the switch into place from the top without any clamps. It won't obstruct your speakers and has an ample opening for the USB port, which you can also use to push the Switch out if needed. I made sure the mount doesn't touch the screen or bezel to prevent scratching. The design includes slots where you can place tape to provide extra protection. Note that Joy-Con controllers cannot be attached to the switch when using this mount. If you live in a hot climate, remember to remove the mount from your vehicle after use or print it with high-heat-resistant material to prevent warping - a caution applicable to all 3D printed items left in a vehicle.
