Nintendo Switch Guide Rails
thingiverse
This guide makes it easier to line up the Nintendo Switch when inserting it into the dock/console for charging. OK, so it's not that hard to do, but my kids seemed to have a hard time with lining up the console with the USB-C plug in the dock... and occasionally tried to solve the misalignment by applying force. Yikes. The basic idea is you print this, and stick the Nintendo Switch dock in it (it just sits in it, there's no attachment mechanism or glueing or anything like that). When you put the Switch with controllers into the dock, the uprights provide a positioning guide to align it correctly. I printed it with a brim for print bed adhesion and because I kind of liked how it looked I left it on. I don't think it really needs it though. **NOTE:** To print this you'll need to rotate it by 45° in your slicer otherwise it almost certainly won't fit on your print bed (see attached images).
