Nintendo Switch Grip (Docked)

Obviously there's no shortage of 3D printable docked grips for the Switch, and while I could go on at length about my motivations and goals, let's just say that I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to ergonomics - which is why I designed this grip as a complement to my portable switch grip found here: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/nintendo-switch-ergonomic-grip. To get straight to the point, what sets my design apart is its incorporation of the actual metal rails from either the standard grip or the slide-on covers that come with the Switch. Additionally, it also incorporates the light pipes from the standard grip to make it a more complete package. And on a similar note, the mid-section has a cut out designed for a laser-cut and engraved piece of acrylic in place of a logo. I recognize that not everyone has access to a laser cutter or might not be comfortable disassembling their standard grip to get at the light pipes - which is why I've included alternate versions of the Mid piece. In the case of the logo, there are versions with the Switch logo incorporated into the design. Let me stress that this isn't quite finished, mainly in regards to the light pipes, and if you do decide to print that version, be prepared to put some extra work into it. Other than that, the design should print easily enough with the settings listed below. Continue scrolling for more detailed instructions.
