Nintendo Switch Gamecube Controller Adapter Dock
thingiverse
I created a dock like this one before, but I wasn't satisfied with the design so I made my own one from scratch. The hooks on my version are stronger, requiring a set of steps to attach (Check below). This ensures that the dock and adapter fit snugly together and won't come loose if the dock is tipped over. Important: To get the tabs to lock onto the side properly, don't try forcing them on. Instead: Keep the Gamecube dock adapter flat as shown in the picture. Position the Switch dock so its front face is facing down towards the ground and the slot where the Switch goes into is facing you. Slide the Switch dock in from the back, guiding the hooks through the slot until they reach the bottom of it. Slowly turn the Switch dock upright. There are no slots or grooves for the face-plate and buttons on this design, as printing them would be problematic. Simply line them up where you prefer and glue them on. The Gamecube controller racks were designed by Larsenv and can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3080451
