Nintendo Switch Exhaust Fan
thingiverse
I got the idea for this from the Nintendo Switch Cooler by CoPOrt, (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2468923).\r\n\r\nThis basic cooler is designed to pull hot air out of the top vent while playing in docked mode. I went with a different size and power requirement for the fan. A smaller 30mm "Pi-Fan" is used, usually found in Raspberry Pi applications (in the link below), and rated at 5 volts DC. The red and black wires from an old USB cable can be connected directly to the fan itself, making it possible to plug it into the Switch dock or a TV's USB port for power.\r\n\r\nI decided to share this and hope it proves useful for someone out there. :)\r\n\r\nFan Used: (Included mounting screws in the print were used)\r\n(https://www.amazon.com/WINGONEER-Brushless-Cooling-Screws-Raspberry/dp/B01M16KDEG/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1546462634&sr=8-7&keywords=pi-fan)
