Nintendo Switch Dock Wall Mount - for aftermarket dock parts
thingiverse
I bought a used Nintendo Switch without the factory dock, so I ordered an aftermarket dock from Amazon to have a solution. My TV is mounted on the wall in the corner of the room with all electronics hidden behind it, and I wanted to do the same with the dock. The wire connections are located at the back of the dock, making it stick out more if I mounted it on a shelf. I made changes to DylanWave's original design to fit my aftermarket dock parts and allow wall mounting: 1. Backplate - Removed stand connections and added holes for wall mounting. 2. USB-C port - Changed screw mounts to remove the factory spring-loaded system. My dock has a rubber gasket mount allowing movement for the USB-C connection. 3. Added supports for the changes I made to the USB-C mount. All screws used were from my aftermarket dock. A 3-point switch screwdriver is required if you don't want to strip the screws. This is the dock I used: https://www.amazon.com/Nintendo-Protocol-Projection-Transform-Supported/dp/B07TS5TL7Y/ref=sr_1_8?dchild=1&keywords=gulikit+switch&qid=1585964977&sr=8-8 If you want to use your factory dock parts and mount it on the wall, print the original dock from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2414197, then print this backplate.
