Nintendo Switch Dock Dongle Mod MK2.5
thingiverse
The 3D print design has 2 modifications compare to asahiGR's file. 1. I enlarged the rectangle hole of the male Type-C port to 1.7cm on width and 9.5mm on height. So my Type-C extention cable could fit in (as the picture). 2. I changed the round holes to narrow rectangles because my printer seems can not handle circle shape of that size. I used 8 screws (4 for motherboard, 4 for the shell) directly from the Nitendo original dock. That is really convinient. Problem: After assembling, the male Type-C part will raise his head a little bit. This might be because the upper printing piece is too narrow to place for the male Type-C chip board. ******** I printed "wesalvaro's design". It's OK, but the wall is too thin to hold the board for a long time. (comparation as the picture) And this one is definitely smaller and stronger. ******** Thanks to all those great and inherited designs and designers. Mark the development history: 1.
