Nintendo Switch Controller Charging Stand
thingiverse
I ordered two budget-friendly controllers for the kids to play on the Switch with, since both our left joy-cons were experiencing stick drift issues. To create a convenient charging station and tame the cable chaos, I decided to challenge myself by expanding my Fusion 360 skills. There are two stands, one with an impractically small compartment in the center and one without any pocket at all. According to Cura's estimates, the stand without the pocket will print about twenty minutes faster than the other one. The other file is a plug for the gaping hole left behind after routing the cables. Depending on your printer's accuracy, some sanding or filing might be necessary to get the plugs to fit smoothly. I only needed to sand my plugs to ensure they could go in and out effortlessly. This is my second functional design (my first publicly shared creation), so please share any feedback you have!
