Nintendo Gamecube Switch Dock.
thingiverse
This is a 3D printable 9-piece Nintendo Switch Dock facelift, which snaps onto the front of the existing dock with no modifications required to the standard dock. This design requires some parts to be glued together, such as the two front black feet to the body and the 'Controller plaque' to the backplate. The rest of the print will hold together without any adhesive. To make this print (without paint), you'll need: - Black filament. - Light grey filament. - Silver/grey filament. - Optional color for Gamecube, such as Orange Spice or Indigo. - Adhesive like superglue or hot glue. - Optional "ATI" sticker printed on adhesive backing paper. When printing Body.stl, it's recommended to print on a glass bed to keep the surface smooth and then sanding it slightly with wet & dry sandpaper working your way through the sheets of smoothness. <b>Please note:</b> During testing of fittings, I noticed that my original day-one dock was slightly larger than my significant other's later edition Switch dock. It wasn't massively different, however it did require a small amount of blu-tack to keep it steady. We've recently heated the corners with a hairdryer to pinch them so they fit more snugly against her switch, eliminating the use of blu-tack. Don't use double-sided tape as a blue-tack replacement, as it could damage the paint on the dock! Another note is that the Switch dock can get quite warm during extended playing, so I noticed some minor warping of my PLA cover. It may be worth printing this in PETG or another more resistant material.
