Its native format is .skp while the 3ds Max scene is from 2016 version of the program, rendered using Vray 3.00 The Nintendo GameCube is a home video game console made by Nintendo, launched as part of the sixth generation console era. It succeeded the Nintendo 64 and paved the way for the Wii. The Nintendo GameCube used optical discs as its primary storage medium after several earlier attempts by Nintendo to use this technology. In contrast with contemporaries like PlayStation 2 and Xbox, the GameCube employs miniDVD-based discs instead of standard DVDs. As a result, it lacks DVD-Video playback capabilities found in other consoles that use full-size DVDs, plus it doesn't support audio CD playback of systems using these large optical discs. The console added numerous connectivity options to Nintendo systems, making it the fourth system with online play through the official Broadband Adapter and Modem Adapter. It allowed users to connect their Game Boy Advance for special game features or use it as a controller for certain games via the Game Boy Player. Released on September 14, 2001 in Japan, November 18, 2001 in North America, May 3, 2002 in Europe and Australia on May 17, 2002, the console sold worldwide at 21.74 million units.
