Have you ever thought to yourself, "Taking photos on my 1997 Game Boy Camera is too easy and convenient. Wouldn't it be great if I had even less control over how my grainy, 128×112, grayscale images come out?" Well, have I got the 3D print for you! This snap-on viewfinder uses the cheap, plastic lenses from a [Fujifilm QuickSnap disposable camera](https://www.amazon.com/Fujifilm-Quicksnap-Flash-Single-Use-Camera/dp/B00012YIA0), and allows you to frame up shots the old fashioned way! No longer will you be forced to look at your Game Boy's screen to see exactly what the final image will look like. Now you can hope and pray that image you see through this blurry, plastic viewfinder will even remotely resemble what image you are actually capturing! If it's not clear, this design is a bit of a joke but it's fun to play with and looks positively silly sitting on top of a Game Boy Camera like a little hairdo. It prints in 3 parts: the main body, the viewfinder lens frame, and a cap for the lens frame. The body prints best in high quality on its back, while the lens frame prints best right side up, and the cap upside down. Nothing needs supports. The lenses can be recycled from a used disposable camera. Ask your local photo shop if they have any—I was able to get a handful of them for free just by asking. The viewfinder lens frame was designed as a separate part so you can design your own frame if you can't find the same Fujifilm QuickSnap lenses I used here. The size of the body should accommodate most cheap viewfinder lenses, but you will need to experiment to make sure the focal length is similar. As you can see in my design, I've masked off the front lens a little bit to crop the edges, since the viewfinder was a little wider than the actually Game Boy Camera lens.
