The new DS will boast an impressive 1,152 different usage possibilities, although many may be redundant or useless. This is due to six handling options (three rotations and two flips), four cover positions (over one of the three screens or on the back), four camera positions (two cameras with two possible ways each), three screen positions (closed, normally opened, and fully opened at 160° and 360° respectively), and the choice between using a finger or stylus. Additionally, players can enjoy single or multiplayer modes, which offer yet another way to use the transparent screen. The device is also compatible with the Nintendo Terminal NX, which features an additional third rotation for use as a Wiimote-like controller.
