Nintendo 64 Controller Connector

I design a compact, precision-fitted console-side Nintendo 64 controller port for seamless integration into custom PC builds. Initially, I constructed an n64-to-PC adapter using a hacked extension cable. However, to create a 4-port version, I decided to fabricate four identical ports using my own prints, rather than relying on commercially available alternatives. To overcome the printing limitations of small connector pins, which sometimes fail to print consistently due to intricate details around the contact points, this custom design features modified specifications that prioritize a snug, controlled fit between the printed parts and electrical connections. I relied on sturdy connectors for reliable power transmission while minimizing any gaps that could compromise connection integrity. This bespoke model was engineered in Tinkercad after conducting thorough measurements of an authentic console port using precise calipers. Although initial prints necessitated adjustments to ensure usability, I maintained a top priority: ensuring the connector interface provided a snug enough fit to prevent cables from dislodging accidentally during use.
