This is a vibration-dampening foot printed in Ninjaflex or any other flexible filament. It's primarily designed for the Felix printer but should be useful for any other that uses a 40x40 profile frame. For the Felix, print out three of these feet and insert them into the profile slots. You can view screen shots from a simple vibration analysis app on the iPhone showing vibration directly measured on the machine, and vibration measured right next to the foot on the table, with a marked reduction in vibration - .002g (direct) and .0004g (table). The results show that the vibration is not being transmitted through feet to the table. You'll need to click on the picture to zoom in and see the scale values. Feet used for this test were printed at 75%. To get started: * Use a higher fill density to make it more rigid - more vibration * Use a low Fill density to make it less rigid - less vibration, but more bounce! Current Print Settings for Simplify with E3DV6 Head, which may change: Temp: 260°c Retraction: None Speed: 15mm/Sec or 900mm/Min Infill: 25-75% (25% as shown in the photos), 75% is what I used my test on and it seems to work pretty good.
