I was employed as a 3D instructor for the social project "Dein Held in der 3D Welt!", carried out by "NeNa eV" and backed by the "Ich kann was!" initiative of the "Deutsche Telekom Stiftung", which focuses on promoting digital literacy among socially disadvantaged youth. The entire concept of this project involved communicating to kids every step of the 3D printing process for self-designed figurines. I worked as part of a team of social education professionals. My duties went beyond providing care and support to help children bring their visions to life; I also had to design the process and manage the technical aspects for such an undertaking, which turned out to be a four-day workshop consisting of several steps: Designing a hero that would be 3D printed Creating the hero/avatar using modelling clay Scanning the real-life model with a mobile app Enhancing the model within a kid-friendly sculpting browser application Having the 3D model 3D printed Painting the printed model with acrylic pens
