My Printrbot Metal Simple was prone to careening wildly across the desktop until I took matters into my own hands. The desktop itself served as a makeshift resonance chamber, amplifying every rattling vibration. To curb this chaos, I conceptualized and 3D-printed these custom footpads in Ninjaflex, which have successfully grounded my printer ever since, rendering it an almost-silent companion.
