sketchfab
This partially preserved ninfeo served as the spectacular entrance to the immense villa of the Quintilii family's 'Gens' on the Via Appia, just outside Rome. The preserved structures date back to the second half of the 2nd century and were last restored during the reign of King Theodoric the Great, ruler of the Ostrogoths from 474 to 526.
