Added V3 - This new design takes into account the oval shape of the tube's cross section and features a hinged design that requires independent models for RH and LH sides. Both designs are included so you can choose the one that suits your taste best. The hinged design can be challenging to print due to the need for supports on the hinge part, but selective supports may help minimize unnecessary support material. This is an accessory mount for the Segway Ninebot ES1/ES2/ES4 scooter. Two identical prints are needed for installation. The model relies on Allen M3 screws and self-locking nuts; please verify that you have the right type of attaching hardware available and adjust accordingly. The brackets are circular, but the actual Ninebot stem has an oval cross-section, presenting an opportunity for improvement. Printed with the rod axis parallel to the build plate for enhanced shear resistance when assembled. Supports were used along with 50% infill; feel free to experiment with different slicing settings. When attaching the set to the scooter, use rubber gaskets to enhance stability and prevent vibration from shifting the brackets.
