I crafted this intricate lithophane to pay tribute to legendary jazz musician, songwriter, and champion of equality Nina Simone (1933-2003) during Black History Month 2020. To bring my vision to life, I relied on Image to Lithophane at http://3dp.rocks/lithophane/, a platform to which I contribute generously. I designed the background pattern using Tinkercad's Codeblocks coding environment before importing it into their standard CAD system for precise editing and fine-tuning with the lithophane.
