Nimble 'Nubis (JigDoll/Limberjack)

This is another JigDoll. You will need a 9mm dowel and a thin, springy board to use it. There is a short video to show what it does https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g22-15_zhsE. I've made two versions, one with an extra joint at the ankles (like the 1920s Mr Jollyboy) and one without, which is more common these days. I find they each need their own approach to getting a good, clean rhythm. It is designed as a fun thing for music, so I cannot vouch for the strength of the joints in the hands of children (the joint-spindles are around 3mm diameter). Please look online for examples of them being used. Also please be aware that they can really distract attention from good live musicians, so use sensitively.
