Niles the animatronic Parrot
thingiverse
This is Niles, an animatronic parrot controlled by a Pololu micro Maestro (6-channel) servo board. The board uses 4 micro servos to move him. Leg Top is optional; it was added accidentally but can be used to extend the parrots legs by hot gluing its base to the bottom of the Parrot and then attaching Leg Bottom. Skull & Jaw must be scaled up to 300% in Cura. To build Niles, you will need two Legs Bottom, two Reversible Hinge, two Wings, two Foot Base New, and six Foot Nail. All other parts are printed once. The parts were printed with a 10% infill and 0.15 mm layer height. Only the Jaw should be printed with support.
