Nikon TC-E2 binocular shell
prusaprinters
Hi,Shell for making 2x54 binoculars from two Nikon TC-E2 teleconverters.Use M5 socket cap screw with flat nut for the axis.I'm printing the eyecup with soft gum filament and 1% infill with 2 perimeters so it stays soft.Update: I've created the mould so you can cast better eyecups with silicone. First pour silicone into bottom part, then assemble the mould, add some rubber band to keep it together and fill rest of the space. Update: added gopro adapter. Remember to use longer screw to mount it.Update: added tripod adapter. Print to copies, insert M5 and 1/4" nuts then glue parts together. You will need 25mm long M5 screw too.Update: added non-winged version of the eyecupUpdate: new thicker version of the eyecup.Update: New version with bigger space for nose. Strap mounts are now better positioned and stronger.Update: I've added stl file for eyecup to print with elastic filament (gum, tpu)Update: I've added another version with strap mounts.Print SettingsPrinter Brand:RepRapPrinter: Prusa i3 cloneRafts:Doesn't MatterSupports: YesResolution:0.1-0.2Infill: 70 Category: Physics & Astronomy
