NIKON P900 Red Dot Mount V5
thingiverse
I designed a Red Dot sight mount for my Nikon P900 camera. I found an open source hot shoe adapter at thingiverse.com/thing:241592, and that's what I used to secure my Red Dot sight in place. This new version 5 has two parts. Generally, I keep the front ring attached to the camera and only add the RDS mount when it's needed. I keep everything in place using a rubber band around the EVS. When necessary, I use foam tape on the top part that rests on my camera. My previous design was the V2 model which needed some sanding but hopefully the V3 will turn out better. In any case, you can even get good results just by holding the adapter firmly without using rubber bands.
