Nikon P900 eye cup, two-part design. A sturdy PLA adapter paired with a flexible eye cup. I designed this for a friend who wears glasses and takes bird pictures. This version features a thread hole to secure the eye cup to the camera, since he lost the previous one on a beach in Namibia. The PLA adapter has small ridges that grip and deform into the thin rubber surface around the P900 viewfinder. The PLA part provides a mounting surface for the flexible eye cup. Be aware that printing the eye cup with flexible filament is a challenge, assuming you want a smooth surface finish. I eventually printed without supports or rafts, using a 0.4mm nozzle and 0.15mm layers in vase mode. The underlying cause may be that the flex eye shell has a constant radial thickness while the horizontal printing thickness changes. Flip both parts over and print with no supports. The camera top side of the PLA part has a slight curve. The flexible part matches the PLA, but if you're left-eyed, it also works rotated 180 degrees. Have fun printing it!
