The Nikon P1000 struggles with balance when fully zoomed out due to its forward-heavy design, while its tripod mount remains positioned at the rear. A solution is clearly necessary! To rectify this issue, I created a makeshift front support using a long Arca Swiss plate. My setup doesn't involve any permanent attachments; instead, it relies on friction to stay in place.
