nikon f body to f lens tilt shift

I wanted a camera system that could take images of grain towers by bringing the building lines back into square due to their height. I also desired Nikon mount lenses so I could still use these lenses on my camera without adapters. Unfortunately, this does not work with my wide-angle 17-55 zoom lens. My best knowledge about this is that you must use a full-frame lens from older 35mm film cameras and it has to be a fixed focal length with an aperture ring. I am currently looking at Nikon 50mm lenses on eBay and will be ordering one in the next week or so, updating on whether this works or not. Here's my adaptation of the Nikon shift-tilt adapter: http://www.instructables.com/id/3D-Printed-Tilt-Shift-Macro-Extension-Tube/. I've made a few modifications, including adding stops to the camera ring to stop at the end and lock it into position. I have also removed the shift hold bracket because the holes for the screws are too small and not printable. The STL files were originally saved in meters, so I converted them back to millimeters. Everything is a tight friction fit, so I've left the sizes as is. To make these parts, I recommend using ABS plastic since you will be sanding and filing parts to fit. Expect a lot of time, and note that PLA is too hard to file and sand. ABS will shave some of this time off. FYI, place the ring spacer with the shiny side up on your camera, then line up the camera-side mount to the holes to get an orientation of the ring on the flange. Then, when you have the spacer on the flange, lock it onto your camera. Next, apply glue to the flange and place it in the upper position. Remove it as one piece, then press them together. Other than that, please refer to the instructables web page for further instructions and information.
