Nikon F Body Cap
thingiverse
A Nikon body cap was absent on Thingiverse, so I created one for sharing! Version 1 is straightforward and flat, featuring a 90-degree overhang on the bayonet lip, while version 2 offers enhanced depth grip, alignment notch, mount type label, and a chamfered bayonet lip. Both fit well without touching focus screw or lock pin; some slicers may leave an internal spur in thin walls but it won't affect fit. Print them with ABS at .2 res, no support needed - use raft optionally for better bottom edge finish. Version 2 takes around 50 minutes to print using Makerware 2.4 with raft. Don't forget to draw a smiley face on the flat area if you wish when looking through the camera's aperture window!
