Nikon DSLR F-Mount Microscope Trinocular Adapter
thingiverse
Material needed extra: M4 screw M4 nut (wrench width 7) I recently needed to capture high-quality shots of a faulty watch movement using my Microscope, but I was not satisfied with the quality of the china-cam that came with it. After finally getting my Kossel printer up and running, I decided to create an Adapter that would allow me to take better photos. The concept behind this Adapter is to make it adjustable for various types of microscopes, which is why I included a set screw so users can find the ideal focus point themselves. One part that may need customization is the distance tube, which must be adjusted to fit on your microscope and adjust its length. It's worth noting that you can increase the wall thickness of the distance tube as much as possible to make it more stable. I would like to thank sheepslinky for posting the theoretical information behind this Adapter, which can be found here: http://www.siliconsombrero.com/2018/04/28/scopecam/.
