The Nikon CoolScan series of film and slide scanners (LS-4000, LS-5000, LS-8000, LS-9000) boasts a versatile accessory in the form of the SF-200 and SF-210 Bulk Slide Feeder. After experimenting with it, I discovered that the hinged cover designed to shield slides from dust can be quite tricky to manage and often slams shut abruptly. To address this issue, I created a simple yet effective handle that attaches securely using double-sided tape. This ingenious solution enables effortless control when opening and closing the cover, making it much more user-friendly.
