Nikon Coolscan 8000/9000 6x7 Film Holder

Film holder for a Nikon Coolscan 8000 or 9000. This is designed to hold two 6x7 frames with 6.5mm spacing between the frames (works with Mamiya cameras but haven't measured other brands) The stock 120 film holder bows out around the end of the 2nd cut frame since it has nothing to help capture it. This design uses a second piece (once magnets are glued to them) sticks to the top of the film and holds everything flat. Besides magnets (I recommend 5mm x 2mm neodymium) the two faces that touch the film should be sanded flat and have adhesive backed flocking tape/paper added to prevent scratching the film. I also added a narrower mask that I use when scanning 65mm cinema film, so the perforations are covered.
