The thing that caught my attention was that this particular friction-fit lens cap is specifically designed for a Nikon Coolpix L320 camera. Measuring 59.5 millimeters in diameter from the inside out, it took me by surprise to find that once I printed it out, its actual diameter shrunk down to roughly 59.2 millimeters. What's clear is that depending on your 3D printer of choice, some minor tweaking may be needed to fine-tune the fit for just the right amount of friction.
