BattBlox is a versatile battery holder that can be tailored to hold most common battery styles. Multiple design configurations for other batteries are available online, and additional sizes can be requested to accommodate specific needs. BattBlox measures 100mm deep with various widths designed to suit the size of the batteries it holds. To ensure ease of use, different battery sizes have been taken into account in its design. The individual 'blox' components snap together using a 'key' file or can be used separately as needed. A 'filler' piece is available for use on the ends or when printing single units to conceal the keyway. Note that BattBlox are two-sided, with one side bearing the battery type and the other featuring a rounded-over plain style. They are symmetrical about their center point, allowing them to be used in either orientation or a combination of both. Nikon BattBlox is designed to accommodate most common Nikon batteries. The 'blox' configuration allows for two larger batteries per section or three of the newer EN-EL14a's. There is sufficient space within each segment to store batteries with or without the plastic contact cap in place, provided the contacts are positioned upwards. While designed primarily for Nikon cameras, BattBlox can also be used to store batteries from other manufacturers with similar shapes, such as Canon NP-F550 batteries, which are often used in lighting products and can fit two batteries per segment. All designs posted online are 100% ready for immediate use and have undergone multiple print refinements with various settings to ensure optimal results. It is hoped that readers will take the time to review this information, download the design, and share their experiences or leave a comment.
