This is the first object I upload, a DIY marvel.\nI deconstructed an outdated Nikon original 14-24mm f/2.8 lens cap that was just taking up space.\nRather than splurging on a new one, I took on the challenge of creating my own custom cap from scratch, complete with a built-in locking mechanism.\nTurning it clockwise or counterclockwise, I secure it tightly to the lens, ensuring it stays firmly in place and won't be misplaced.\nThe design may still need some cosmetic tweaks, but functionality-wise, it's a total success.\nPrint Settings:\nPrinter: \n My trusty Prusa i3\n \n Rafts:\n None needed here\n \n Supports:\n Essential for added strength and stability\n \n Resolution:\n Crisp 0.2mm precision for a professional finish\n \n Infill:\n A standard 50% filling for maximum durability\n \n Notes: Infill isn't crucial in this case; it's all about overall structure and form.
